The Brothers of the Mu-Gamma Chapter of Kappa Sigma are hard at work preparing for what is sure to be the largest Wicked Woods in history.  This year the 5th largest Haunted Trail/House in the State of Texas will be operating and open to business from October 18th-20th, October 25th-27th, and October 30th-31st.  The Event will start each night around 8pm (or when dark permits) and run until around 3am (or until the last group leaves for the night).  Wicked Woods is an outdoor haunted 15 minute trail through 5 acres of eerie back woods.  The Wicked Woods are located at 4466 Raymond Stotzer Parkway, College Station, Texas, right across from the main entrance to Easterwood Airport.

If you dare to enter the price will be $8 fom October 18th-20th and $10 from October 25th-27th & 30th-31st.  $1 will be taken off of you ticket price with a canned food donation at the door on all nights.  All canned food will be donated to the Brazos Valley Food Bank. Proceeds are donated to various organizations that in the past have included:

    • The Military Heroes Campaign - focusing on charitable assistance to the Fisher House Foundation, a segment of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund that provides free housing to wounded veterans and their families.
    • Carpool - a Volunteer student-run non-profit organization serving the Bryan/College Station community with free, safe, non-judgmental rides home between the times of 10pm and 3am every Thursday, Friday, Saturday
    • The American Red Cross
    • Brazos Valley Food Bank
    • These are just a few among many others

So come out and join Kappa Sigma and thousands of other Aggies on a fun and Frightening tour through the Wicked Woods.  T-Shirts will be sold on site for those of you who would like to purchase one.

Wicked Woods is the flagship philanthropy of the Mu-Gamma Chapter.  An award-winning haunted trail hosted annually by the Chapter in late October, Wicked Woods benefits both the Military Heroes Campaign and the Brazos Valley Food Bank.

In October 2010, Wicked Woods 15 raised $5,000 for our veterans and their families at the Ft. Hood, Texas Fisher House. In addition, Brothers collected over 2,000 pounds of canned goods at the entrance, which were donated to the Brazos Valley Food Bank.
